Padman Actress Urmila Mahanta’s Next Is An Assamese Thriller
Her last film Padman has not only created a stir in the society for relevant reasons but also gave the actress the positioning as a brand. Urmila Mahanta, a known face of our Hindi films Manjhi and Akira is gearing up for her next which is an Assamese film based on ULFA terrorist activities.
Talking about the film, Urmila says, “The film is a female oriented based on ULFA terrorist activities and fake encounters during insurgency. It is a journey of a girl named Palki Kashyap who is trying to find out the truth about her father. Its in the thriller space.”
“Since I have done films in Assam, my director Monjori Borkotoky approached me for the role and I loved the script. Veteran Bishnu Kharghoria will also play a pivotal role along with me. I am shooting the entire film in Guwahati for next 20-25 days. The film schedule is expected to wrap up by December 16th and the makers are aiming to send it to several film festivals prior to the theatrical release,” she adds.
Recently Urmila won the best actress award at the 7th State Film Award for most talked about film of Assam Bokul. She received the award from eminent directors Prakash Jha and Amol Palekar. For the same film, Urmila also bagged the best actress award at Patna International Film Festival.

छठ पूजा मौके पर बहुजन विकास अघाड़ी द्वारा आयोजित भव्य छठ पूजा कार्यक्रम में भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘लाल इश्क’ के अभिनेता अजय दीक्षित और फिल्म के लेखक-निर्देशक सुरेंद्र मिश्रा को समारोह में सम्मानित किया गया। वहीं, अजय दीक्षित के साथ बेटवा बाहुबली 2 फेम अभिनेत्री नीलू सिंह समारोह में उपस्थित थी। इस मौके पर पहली बार अजय दीक्षित ने छठ गीत गाया और पब्लिक डिमांड पर अपने फिल्मों के बहुत सारे डॉयलॉग बोले।
इस अवसर पर बहुजन विकास अघाड़ी के लोकनेता हितेंद्र ठाकुर, आमदार क्षितिजा ठाकुर, सभापति भारत भाई मकवाना सहित पार्टी के अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मौजूद थे। अभिनेता अजय दीक्षित ने सभी उपस्थित लोगों का आभार व्यक्त किया। साथ इस सम्मान के लिए पार्टी के सभी सदस्यों को धन्यवाद दिया। अजय ने आगे कहा कि मैं ये सम्मान पाकर गौरवान्वित महसूस कर रहा हूं। इस तरह के सम्मान जब हमें प्राप्त होते हैं, तो हमारा मनोबल और भी बढ़ता है। साथ ही लेखक-निर्देशक सुरेंद्र मिश्रा ने भी सभी लोगों का तहेदिल से धन्यवाद दिया।
बहुजन विकास अघाड़ी के लोकनेता हितेंद्र ठाकुर ने कहा कि अजय दीक्षित काफी मंझे हुए कलाकार है। हाल ही में अजय दीक्षित की भोजपुरी फिल्म “लाल इश्क” का मुहूर्त संपन्न हुआ है। इस फ़िल्म का निर्माण विजसन फ़िल्म प्रोडक्शन के बैनर तले किया जा रहा है। इस फ़िल्म के बारे मे अजय दीक्षित ने बताया कि जब मैंने ”लाल इश्क़” की कहानी सुनी तो सुनते ही मैंने इस फ़िल्म को करने के लिए हामी भर दी, क्योंकि इस फ़िल्म का कॉन्सेप्ट बाकी जितनी भी फ़िल्म मैंने की हैं उन सब से हटके है। मैं लेखक-निर्देशक सुरेंद्र मिश्रा के साथ काम करने को लेकर बहुत ही उत्साहित हूँ। फ़िल्म की शूटिंग अगले महीने से बनारस के रमणीय स्थलों पर शुरू की जाएगी।
गीत प्यारेलाल यादव,आजाद सिंह,सुमित चंद्रवर्सी,रिजवान खान और सुरेंद्र मिश्र ने लिखा हैं। फ़िल्म को संगीत दिया है अनुज तिवारी ने । फ़िल्म में एक्शन का जिम्मा इकबाल सुलेमान ने लिया है। फ़िल्म का छायांकन शकील खान करने वाले है ,एडिटर चैतन्य स्वामी, नृत्य निर्देशन सुनील मोटवानी और ईपी अखिलेश सिंह है।

आंख खोलने वाला कड़वा सच दिखाती है फिल्म ‘द डार्क साइड ऑफ लाइफः मुंबई सिटी’

बॉलीवुड में आजकल प्रयोगात्मक फिल्में बन रही हैं जिनमें झूठ का आवरण नहीं है बल्कि सच्चाई को पेश किया जा रहा है ताकि दर्शकों से फिल्म से सीधा जुड़ाव हो सके। डायरेक्टर तारिक खान की इसी सप्ताह रिलीज हुई फिल्म ‘द डार्क साइड ऑफ लाइफः मुंबई सिटी’ एक ऐसी ही कहानी है जो मुंबई जैसे बड़े शहरों में हो रही आत्महत्या की बढती घटनाओं पर आधारित है। फिल्म की खासियत यह है कि इसमें कई कहानियों और किरदारों को बहुत करीने से पिरोया गया है और इस खूबसूरती से पेश किया गया है कि दर्शक इस फिल्म से खुद को जुड़ा हुआ महसूस करें।
फिल्म में अंत तक सस्पेंस और थ्रिल भी कायम रहता है लेकिन विडंबना यही है कि छोटा बैनर होने की वजह से ऐसी फिल्में दर्शकों की बड़ी संख्या तक नहीं पहुंच पातीं और निर्देशक का सार्थक प्रयास भी व्यर्थ हो जाता है। फिल्म की यूएसपी निर्देशक महेश भट्ट का अहम रोल है जिनके दमदार अभिनय ने यकीनन दर्शकों को चौंकाया है। इस फिल्म के बाद हो सकता है महेश भट्ट अभिनय को भी अपने कॅरियर का हिस्सा बना लें। फिल्म में केके मेनन ने भी प्रभावी अभिनय किया है।
लक्ष्य प्रोडक्शन की यह फिल्म मुंबई महानगर और खास कर फिल्मी दुनिया में होने वाली आत्महत्या की घटनाओं पर आधारित एक सिनेमा है। मुम्बईकरों के लिए इसमें आंख खोलने वाला कड़वा सच दिखाया गया है जो बड़े शहरों के जीवन में होने वाले तनाव को दर्शाती है। मुंबई जैसे बड़े शहर में लोग इतनी भाग दौड़ भरी जिंदगी गुजार रहे हैं। हर आदमी तनाव और किसी न किसी परेशानी में का शिकार है और यही संघर्ष और मायूसी कभी कभी लोगों को आत्महत्या करने पर मजबूर कर देती है। इस फिल्म में इसी सच को बड़े प्रभावी ढंग से दिखाया गया है।
Singer Shivangi Sharma Judges International Indian Icon (3III) Reality Show
Shivangi Sharma, a very talented singer and live performer, judged a talent based reality show- International Indian Icon (3iii) at Chicago.
Sharing about the show, she says, “So it is a show where contestants from various parts of the world come and participate. They work so hard towards it, putting in a lot of practice.”
“It feels soooooo great to see Indian talents from around the globe. I am super happy to see such talents. And trust me it feels like home when you get to meet all the Indians even from outside India,” she adds.
On asking Shivangi about her experience on being a part of 3iii, she shares, “Honestly I always wanted to start from some International show or something on those lines. It takes a lot to keep the patience to make the right choice, but I am really glad that my patience is paying me off now and that too from some International reality show, which is quite famous in the US, UK, Canada and a few other western countries. So I am really really happy to be part of it.”
International Indian Icon (3iii) is a platform for all the Indians living around the world to showcase their talents in the field of singing, dancing and musical instruments. The selection process includes public online voting, and ratings by the Gee Panel of Judges.
The Teaser Of Anurag Saikia’s Tum Aaoge Is About Reminiscing Old Love
Talented composer Anurag Saikia had a brilliant run at the movies this year. While he had composed music for films like Karwan, Mulk and Highjack, Anurag is back with an emotional original by Gaana.
Tum aaoge is the sequel to the songs ‘Bas Ek Bar’ and ‘Ajnabee’ of the series starring Amir Ali and Sanjida Sheikh. Composing for this concept, Anurag says “When I started working with Times, I realised that they respect an artist’s creative space and that helped me explore each of these songs in detail. There was no brief given to me. Composing for this trilogy was an interesting journey for me. And visually my music was beautifully complemented by the chemistry of Amir Ali and Sanjida Sheikh.”
Talking about the future projects, he says, “I am working on couple of films at this moment but can’t reveal much about them right now.” Composed by Anurag Saikia, Tum Aaoge is penned by Kunaal Vermaa and sung by Soham Naik & Ritrisha Sarmah.

Recently the famous Beauty Pageant Miss India Continent 2018 organized by Aman Gandhi Film Productions Private Limited took place in Hotel Mumbai House Andheri Mumbai India . The show was based on the theme of beauty fights for respect of Women and Save Girls. TV and Bollywood Actress Miss Maitry Raizada from Gujarat Saurashtra won the title Miss INDIA Continent 2018 & India’Glory Award Women Empowerment Catogory. Miss Maitry Raizada is being introduced to Media by senior journalist and social activist K Ravi.
1st Runner up was Miss Kimberly Anne Govender from South Africa ( Indian Origin) Second runner up was Miss Sakshi Khurana from Jammu who is a pilot by profession She also winner of Miss INDIA Continent North India.
Third runner up was Suparna Dey from Siliguri, North east. She also won the title Miss India Continent Winner of North East.

Model-Actress Vedieka Dutt Sets the Bar High with Her Fitness Videos
Mumbai, 12 November, 2018: Each year sees an influx of talent and beauties in the entertainment industry but only a few stand out and make a mark of their own. The most recent of the lot who has taken the fight a notch higher is – Vedieka Dutt, a 23-year-old model and actress from the city of joy Kolkata. In her latest fitness routines on Instagram, the model-turned-actress has set the temperature soaring high. This stunning young beauty is passionate about fitness and lives by the mantra of staying fit and healthy.
At this ripe age, she already has some amazing accomplishments in her kitty. She was seen in three popular music videos – Mere Khuda by Tseries, Tax by Zee Music and Dimple Wali Girl by Sony Music. In just one and a half years, Vedieka has shot for 10 TV commercials for a variety of brands.
Having done some small television commercials in Kolkata, Vedieka moved to Mumbai to realize her dreams of becoming an actor. A simple girl with high ambitions, she has done print ads for Kalyan Jewelers with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Mrs. Jaya Bachchan. Her other upcoming ads are for Titan’s SmartWatch, Kingfisher Radlar, and Sun TV promo for Kolkata.
