The guests in attendance seen at the event were Anaita Shroff Adajania, Antara Motiwala, Kintu Bajaj, Ekta Rajani, Aastha Sharma and Shehla Khan to name a few.

Gehna Jewellers holds a legacy of skilled and unmatched craftsmanship with extraordinary finishing for the past 32 years. While fashion designer, Arpita Mehta serves as a new-age force of nature in the fashion industry, as visible over the past decade. Together, the two names have come together for a creative meeting of the minds, leading to a one-of-a-kind collaboration. Being an ardent lover of jewellery, Arpita has always wanted to diversify and channel her creative juices into designing fine jewellery pieces. Gehna Jewellers believed in collaborating with someone who belonged to the same school of sartorial thought, making Arpita an obvious choice.

The result is an exquisite collection of 26 fine jewellery pieces with the designer’s all-time favorite gemstone, the sparkling emerald. The emerald stones create depth in the pieces, adding instant aesthetic value. The entire collection is centered around this sparkling gemstone, ranging from minimalist dainty pieces to voluminous festive favorites, with polki elements balancing out the designs.

This collection is designed for the new-age woman who demands high quality of all that she adorns, and seeks functionality with fashion. A woman who is elegant, natural, always at ease and has an individualistic sense of style. It does not matter if it’s a red carpet night or a casual day around town; this diva prefers the everlasting glow that comes with precious stones and crafted metal.

The USP of this collection is the dazzling emerald that fires up the designs. The distinct fluidity of the designs embodies a timeless, understated and elegant spirit. The aesthetic of the new collection follows the same principles that are intrinsic to the Gehna Jewellers legacy. It is, however, refreshing to see how Arpita brings her personal style signature to the collection, and adds a young, fun element to the collaborative process. Arpita explains, “The lighter jewellery will look beautiful stacked up, while the dressier pieces look lovely just by themselves since they are unique and standout designs,” while Gehna Jewellers comments, “We are happy to see it going through the various stages of production, and something tells us that this one is going to be spectacular.”
